U10

Birth Year 2017 - 2018

The U10 race group is open to all race hopefuls looking for an introduction to ski racing.  Focus is on technique (US Ski & Snowboard Training Phases 1-3) as we explore the entire mountain top to bottom riding all lifts.  Minimal gate training will be introduced in January (stubbie SL, SL, GS). Athletes must be able to ski all trails and ride the chairlift independently.

Duration:  Saturdays & Sundays 8:00am-12:00pm (December 5, 2026 - March 7, 2027) - NO single day option

Race Schedule:  3-5 race days with an additional charge for each race (2 fun events at Wachusett, 1-2 travel races).  Must attend a minimum of two races to retain club membership.

Race Equipment Required:  A Jr SL race ski or combi ski, ski boots (60/65 flex), helmet with hard ear covering, ski poles, goggles and warm clothing. 

Registration Fee: $1,550



Additional Fees:  Wachusett Jr Gold ski pass ($600+), U.S. Ski & Snowboard “Competitor U12 & Under” ($110) andTSASRA Memberships ($30).
